Welcome to the web site and online service of Skype Study Online, (“Skype-Study “, “we,” or “us”). This page explains the terms by which you may use our online services, web sites including but not limited to the URL https://skypestudy.online, https://smart-study.online and software provided on or in connection with the service (collectively the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). This Agreement applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service (“Users”).

We may make changes to these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date given below. It is your responsibility to review these Terms frequently and to remain informed of any changes to them. The then-current version of these Terms will supersede all earlier versions. You agree that your continued use of our Services after such changes have been published to our Services will constitute your acceptance of such revised Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future Terms of Use, do not use or access (or continue to access) the Service.

1. Use of Our Service
Who can use our Service: You confirm that you are either at least 18 years old or, if you are younger than 18, that you have the permission of your parent or legal guardian, who will take responsibility for your compliance with these Terms.

2. Email & Personal Information
Your email and personal information will not be sold or shared with any 3rd parties. Upon signing up on the site – for a paid class or free trial class – your email and contact information will be stored in our system. This contact information will be used to contact you with regards to scheduling of classes, general correspondence from Skype-Study staff and to inform you of promotions being offered by Skype-Study.

3. Entry into force and termination of terms
These Terms come into force since the moment you first visit the Website. The contractual relationship established by these Terms may be terminated by deleting the Account.

The Terms remain in force in case of changes in the contract details of the Parties.
Any of the Parties may terminate the Terms at any time and for any reason falling under the provisions of this document.

We may terminate the Terms if you have violated these Terms, the law or the rights of other persons.

4. Disclaimer of liability for 3rd Party Applications, Websites & Hardware.
Partaking in the services offered by this Website may require the use of some 3rd party software & websites including but not limited to Tutorcruncher.com, TheLessonSpace.com, Skype, Zoom or external educational websites as well as the use of 3rd party video camera and microphone devices.

This Website and the Website Owners are not responsible for the updating or maintenance of any of the 3rd party systems used. These 3rd Party Applications & Hardware may have their own terms and conditions of use and privacy policies and your use of these 3rd Party Applications & Hardware will be governed by and subject to such terms and conditions and privacy policies. You understand and agree that this Website does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for the behavior, features, content, or misuse of any Third Party Application.

5. Tutors Relationship to this Website
All tutors listed on this Website are independent contractors and may also provide services for other businesses. This Website is not legally liable for the actions taken by the independent contractors.

6. Payment
The information about the cost of Services (Tariffs) is indicated on the Website – skypestudy.online

The user confirms that he is acknowledged with the Tariffs.

The User makes a payment in the order of 100% prepayment to the balance or sign up for automatic withdrawal from bank card.

In case of the automatic payment the needed amount will be charged after each successful lesson.

Unused balance on a user account expires after 12 months of inactivity.

7. Rescheduling or Cancellation of Classes. Class Attendance
A class may be rescheduled or cancelled by writing an Email to their teacher or to info@skypestudy.online no later than 24 hours before the original class reservation. 

A class reservation is considered to be any communication in which the teacher confirms the class. This can be via email, WhatsApp chat, speaking on LessonSpace or Zoom.

After 24 hours window the User can still cancel the lesson by going into their personal account at https://secure.tutorcruncher.com/skype-study-online/login/ and choosing “Cancel booking” inside lesson details in the Calendar.

This opportunity disappears 12 hours before the class reservation time.

If no rescheduling has been done and a Student fails to attend the class then tutor have the right to mark the lesson as “Cancelled but Chargeable”. In such case the User will be charged only 5$ for 15 minutes of the tutor time (waiting period).

The Tutor will wait for 15 minutes from the start time of the class and if after 15 minutes the User does not connect and start the class then the Tutor will treat that class as “Cancelled but Chargeable”.

8. Cancellation by the Tutor
Occasionally the Teacher may have an unavoidable emergency or illness that could result in them having no option other than to cancel your class for that day or week. When this happens you will be sent an Email as soon as the Tutor knows. You as the Student will not be charged for the cancelled classes and you are free to re-book your class or classes at a time when the Teacher advises you that they can recommence work.

9. Class Scheduling
Classes are scheduled by contacting your tutor directly or if necessary the admin coordinator at info@skypestudy.online

All classes must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

10. Refunds.
In some cases, at the request of the User, the money paid for the Services may be refunded. The recalculation of the returnable funds is done based on available balance of the User.

No refund will be given for Free classes and bonuses given to the User ( for example, sign-up bonus)

Refund will be made via Stripe or PayPal to the source of original payment.
